If you drive around this estate in Swindon, you will see that the recycle bins black and orange, have not been emptied the last time around, that was two weeks ago, and are not now due to be cleared until next week, once you have spotted the bins, you will also now see all the paper rubbish, tin cans etc flying around, that is coming out of these bins. the council has said that as it was not reported the day after the failed collection, there is nothing they can do, its not election time, so there is no councillors running around pretending to be interested. just rubbish everywhere.  buy they, lets go build some more houses, anywhere. think of the council tax receipts. and dorcan way still needs its soak away drains replaced...
next election is in May.....

Been to the cemetery today, and if you are thinking of going, please take along a pair of wellington boots or carrier bags, to put over your shoes, the bottom the cemetery is underwater, and parts of the top on the right as you go down, where they have been burying people, and the constant use of the tractor, is like a mud bath..

The Borough Council, of Swindon, in its wisdom, has now said that the parish councillors can now be paid an allowance of £1700 a year and the chairman of each said Parish, will get £5000, All very good, who is going to pay for this, yes Readers, you. watch the parish precept payments to jump up next year to cover these payments.  Time for a very radical review of the Borough councillors,  there can only be a need for a maximum of one per ward now, they are the sign of things very distant. Obsolete is a very good description.

The council over £300 million in debt and interest payments on that at an average of £10 million a year, are still borrowing millions by the day, and yes the sell of allotment land has started, this time for a car park..
Don't forget to vote for common sense tomorrow, and that has to be Justin or Richard...

The 7 questions to the Swindon Noth candidate and the two sent to the Swindon south, both around the 15 Nov, not answered, so I presume they are happy with their lot, and not wanting the truth to out. when you vote,  remember that JC, attending a rally in 2014, said that the Islamic State, (ISIS) was not a threat to the UK...  world leader eh...

latest manifesto detail, is that if you are married, and you lose either your wife or husband, you are entitled under current laws to a 25% reduction in your council tax,  Under Labour, if they win, that right is to be scrapped completely, if you wonder why, well they have to get money from somewhere to pay for all their freebies...

last question, and rather tongue in cheek, but I'll ask anyway, If Labour does win the election, will Mr McDonnell be given his own shredder??
