With all the cutbacks by the Council on the 47 route among others just who is going to pay for this 'Innovative Idea'?

And as the Council Leader at a recent Cabinet Forum session admitted to me personally that he has no idea as to what the market actually requires is this the time to play at the Casino with even more of Council Tax Payers money having just opened a new £15m Car Park with borrowed money?  A Car Park that will not be required for people using a bus!!!   :bash: :bash:

Does the Council actually have a Transport Policy or does it manifest itself on a whim by the day?

Swindon Travel Choices established the need for a better no 19 service so what are our Councillors going to do about it?  After all we have two Thamesdown Transport Directors who live in the ward including the present Chairman so we should enjoy a decent service anyway shouldn't we?  But do either of them actually use the buses anyway or are they just for we plebs?

Or worse than that is all the expensive work carried out by Swindon Travel Choices to be ignored?

Is this another visionary idea of froth and spin. If this is a superb idea and takes off with workers will there be a depession to the car park fees that the council collects  :santa_undecided:
