Good joke K!

And if you are genuinely off to the hospital for a while - my sincere best wishes go with you. Don't believe for a minute just because I tease you about the Mail or disagree with you about all sorts of things, doesn't mean I would wish you anything other than than the very best. I do. Get well soon and get back here!!!

Talking of hospital. Did you here about the guy who lost his whole left side?

He’s alright now!…

I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it - [attributed to] Voltaire... 'Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessita' - William of Occam.... 'You have a right to feel offended, but just cos you are offended doesn't mean you are right'

Oh, Ko,   :o  I do hope you are well soon.
Oi! Listen mush. Old eyes, remember? I’ve been around the block a few times. More than a few. They’ve knocked down the blocks I’ve been around and rebuilt them as bigger blocks. Super blocks. And I’ve been round them as well.  The Doctor (Night Terrors)

Get well soon and take your Woolley hat in for comfort  :D

This is what happened to me and my best friend we both had hip problems. I went with my best friend to their clinic they were seen within a few minutes examined and x rayed a quick look at the x ray and the next thing I know booked in to see a specialist and a provisional operation booked for a few at's later - all this within the hour!

I left my best friend there and then I went to my Doc I had to book an appoint I went back a few days later and had to go to hospital for an appointment I waited 3 weeks went to hospital and had then to make an appointment with the specialist for 8 weeks time and also had to come back for an X-ray. After 3 months I was in for the operation canceled twice. Why the difference?

My best friend had four old legs I have two senior citizen legs but next time I need seeing to I am off to the vets  ;D

Ok I accept it is not much of a joke more of a shaggy dog story  :-\

I have often wondered why my cats have private health care and insurance, but I rely on the good old NHS and waiting lists.

Still the nasty vet advised us to chop their little balls off. My GP is yet to offer this service so it isn't all bad.
