I have what you might call a 'pretty garden', fish pond, greenhouse, a lawn either side of the washing line, and trees and flowers all around, so that make it good for me, the allotment lets me grow the 300 odd chrysanths and dahlias a year I grow, plus the food element, and one plot is taken up with about 30 fruit trees of one kind and another, apples anybody....

The present SBC administration have shown they are unable to administer their allotments.
Stratton St Margaret Parish Council have come to their rescue by agreeing to manage one of their sites at Gorse Hill.
Yes, that’s the Quality Award winning  Parish Council which all the Tory Councillors lead by Messrs Heenan & Hurley are attempting to destroy.     When the SBC collectively decided to accept two legally dubious amendments to the “cross party” recommendations of its Community Governance Review Working Group.      Now, Mr Taylor is wrestling to unpick the problem which might have been avoided had he given the Mayor proper advice at the Council Meeting on 11 April 2013.      We are still waiting with interest the minutes of that meeting, why doesn’t he clarify this issue by viewing the talkswindon video?
Don’t lose that record Geoff, me thinks it will be vital information if and when legal challenges are made.

Brian, can you say, why, when the results of that vote consultation was printed, it did not even mention the option to take nythe out of the parish,  or what the vote was for it or against and why the wording on option 1 was changed??
