Surveillance camera code of practice (CCTV) consultation.
« on: February 09, 2013, 04:16:06 PM »
Not sure where this best fits in the topics so I plonked it in here. The Home Office has a consultation out on Surveillance camera code of practice.  I believe it is our interests to become involved in the process as CCTV is almost everywhere in our daily lives.

Since the first town centre Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system was installed in King's Lynn in 1987, there has been a proliferation in the use of CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems operated in public places in England and Wales by both public and private bodies.
