Snowdrops and Welford Park

My favourite flower is the snowdrop. It is so exquisite yet so simple.

It wasn't until a couple of years ago that we discovered Welford Park that has the most stunning display of snowdrops and winter aconites that you can hope to see. The park is only open to the public for the snowdrop flowering season and all the entrance money goes to charity (£5 adults; £4 concessions)

This year the grounds are open until 3rd March (Weds-Sun 11am-4pm) but I suspect that the flowers are not at their more spectacular yet.

However, I thought I'd bring it to you attention as it's not too far away: between Lambourn and Hungerford.
