The things you think about while playing your old records...
« on: January 04, 2013, 11:07:57 AM »
If Rod Bluh were to front a group what group would he be most suited to??..

I'll start the ball rolling with The Rolling Tabarnacle Stones

or how about   Electric Light Wi-fi Lite Orchestra

or maybe it could be Style No Style Council

but most probably  Bad Company Digital City

Maybe some of the wittier in TSville can think of some others

How about:

The Multi Million Pound Paving Slabs

or

The Whalebridge Roundabouts

or

Le Pissoirs

or I know it doesn't sound good however appropriate

The £9m Annual Interest Payment Boys

sorry not very imaginative but I am sure others can do better!

that made me giggle out loud. I actually like the Rolling Stones. Some of them are probably as old as the tabarbacle stones.

My suggestion is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers could become Petty Rod and the Townwreckers

Council cabinet, seem so far away from people and put a front on as if brothers in arms, but if your  a lead member and your latest trick founders leaving you in  Dire Straights tell the others as you ride across the river that it's money for nothing and why worry, its the walk of life!

Any similarities with the Sultans of Swing  is coincidental.
