Brian
« on: December 30, 2012, 09:32:25 AM »

Tig's brother Nick and his missus Claire gave us an unusual presseie at xmas.  I unwrapped it, turning it this way and that but could not for the life of me work out what it was for.  Tig thought my confusion was hilarious. Naturally she'd worked out what it was as soon as I'd unwrapped it.

Meet Brian:

Which caused me to wonder what unusual or quirky things other members and and readers might have lurking in their gardens......so come on, 'fess up  :santa_smiley:

Named after this guy no doubt?

We are all in this together, but some of us are more in it than others (with apologies to George Orwell)

Yep, spot on :)

The likeness is uncanny although our Brian is a tad thinner.

I've got at least three cats like that, 2 on the back gate and one on the clematis frame and somewhere in Rodbourne there is a back gate complelety filled with likewise animals.

The Orchard has a gate with an apple and pear.

We could give a prize for the first one to find it!
Oi! Listen mush. Old eyes, remember? I’ve been around the block a few times. More than a few. They’ve knocked down the blocks I’ve been around and rebuilt them as bigger blocks. Super blocks. And I’ve been round them as well.  The Doctor (Night Terrors)
