The survey says it's not all grim up north Carlisle first York second and Harrogate third, but Swindon is least anxious about running costs?

The survey found that Carlisle was the happiest place to live in the UK, while residents in East London were the least happy.

This survey also showed that Harrow residents rated it in the bottom 10 with Oldham in Manchester. What use is a survey such as this by estate agents? 25,349 respondents, perhaps this survey will now make Swindon appear far more desirable than other regional towns pushing up property prices, as people are more likely to want to come and live here?
