Peter Gradwell, UK pioneer of VoIP for SMEs,
in Swindon on 2 November;
free event Mixing Telephones and the Internet explains benefits and practicalities
of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol)

Peter Gradwell, MD of Gradwell dot com (www.gradwell.com ), will present a free talk on VoIP (Voice over Internet Telephony) at 6.30pm on 2 November at The Innovation Centre, Bath and Swindon University, Oakfield Campus, Marlow Avenue, Swindon (tel: 01793 329900.)

Hosted by Swindon’s Wired West organisation, Peter’s talk and demonstration will outline the benefits of the telephony system that has swept the US and which now has a strong foothold in the UK. “The version of VoIP we have developed is ideal for companies with ‘virtual’ workers who can work from their homes and studios, but who remain directly linked to their employer – and who can phone out as normal as well - at all times,” explained Peter.
“Internet Telephony (VoIP) is a topic of massive importance for SMEs at present, for both cost and ease-of-communication reasons - everyone has the letters VoIP on their lips.
“But does anyone understand the different flavours of VoIP? Does VoIP really and reliably work? Does it save money? What can it be used for?” Peter will use his presentation to answer these questions, and more.
Gradwell is now a Top 3 UK Small Business VoIP provider, with more than 6,000 active lines. “We are sure Peter’s talk on VoIP will be very illuminating,” added Wired West’s Andy Poulton, e-Business adviser at Business Link (Tel: 01793 690754.)
