Nah - isn't that a bit Am-er-i-kan of you Geoff!?

For me, 'FOOT-ball' should be the name of the game where the ball is predominately kicked

Isn't that why after master Webb Ellis picked up his ball, the new game was called Rugby Football?

I've just been arguing this case with the septic tanks, the only race of people I know who call football 'soccer'. Their 'kickers' of the so called 'football' only seem to come on the bloody pitch for about five minutes a game!!!  ;D

As a result, I've been telling them that American 'foot'ball ought really to be called Brawl-ball or Throw-ball - or maybe, based on the constant interruptions, Ad-break-ball!

 >:D
I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it - [attributed to] Voltaire... 'Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessita' - William of Occam.... 'You have a right to feel offended, but just cos you are offended doesn't mean you are right'

Wayne Rooney's been told to take a long look at himself in the mirror. Like that's going to cheer him up.

I loved American football back in the days when Mick wotsisface presented it.

John Riggins, Joe Theisman, Laurence Taylor, Walter Peyton.

I even dabbled until my first set of x-rays, which is how my football career ended come to think of it.

If I was a Mr Man I would be Mr Bump.

Yeah, who'd want to be an ugly young multi millionaire before they are 30 and have to slave away for anything up to 3 hours a week?

I pity the poor bugger, his life must be very hard and I feel quite sorry for him.

I feel sorry for Ronaldo too, terrible complexion.

Elton John doesn't seem to have any probs with his hair. It looked quite natural when I saw him at the County ground looking down from the top of the Arkles Stand.

Its amazing what they can do these days, what with weaves, wigs, extensions, murkins and vagazzles  :santa_afro:

 only the ladies can be vagazzled.

I suppose the mans version would be 'penazzled'  :santa_afro:
bit of glue and some sparklies, and bobs ur uncle or maybe not

I suppose there is a risk with sporting a vagazzle or a penazzle - if things went down the sparkle and shine route, nudge, nudge, wink , wink there could be an exchange of sparklies and some missing jewels.
Its not all glam and glitter you know  :hippy:

As for Sir Elton ..... top man , and he is very well groomed without a hair out of place ..... Love him  :santa_afro:
