As something of a foodie, may I recommend Maggi Sweet Chilli sauce or "Sos Cili" as they call it in Malaysia where it is made. (Available from ethnic shops. ) Also putting Heinz Salad Cream on your chips is much more British than Mayonnaise.

Sorry for the blatant product placement but these things just have to be right.

Now, as for museums and temples for political skulduggery, I'd rather see a nice big prison built especially for corrupt political chancers. They could be re-educated by means of some hard labour like learning to build schools in the wrong place and then moving them or endlessly climbing lamp-posts to install Wi-Fi transceivers, just to take them down again the next day.

I can dream!

I reckon WiFi-1 now owes us over £1,000,000.

We're owed £400,000 and we were promised £700,000 by the end of year two....so that's £1,100,000 isn't it?

I use the Maggi liquid seasoning - magic stuff - but I don't buy the tiny little bottles in Tesco et al which cost about £4, I get the big Mutha's from costo which are about 5 times bigger but cost about, erm, £4  :)

Currently have a stock of Blue Dragon sweet chilli, (big bottles again), but usually buy another brand which is slightly more expensive but the Blue Dragon is nice enough, and positively sweeeeeeet when I consider how much cheaper it is to buy 2 litres of it at Costco than a 1 little bottle round the corner.

The other stuff I seem to use a lot of is Yoshida's Gourmet, and Hot Wing & Rib sauces. Very nice with chicken.

Now we are into the nub of it!

Where from Geoff?

Sorry Mart. The thought of Belgium, with it's astonishing range of "electric" beers, Pomme Frite et Moules," was just too much.

We must not blame our Low Country friends for what has been imposed on them! (Again.)

Maybe the very high alcohol content of the local beers has sent the Eurocrats into a self-indulgent, imperial, self-aggrandisement that can only be cured by a visit from Inspecteur Hercule Knacker?

You're a bit late, but I splashed Tabasco in anyway, chilli flakes tend to be a bit boisterous.

4lb tomatoes (mine). onion, red pepper (mine), mustard, wine vinegar, brown sugar, mixed spice and a bit of garlic.

Reduced down to two ickle jars.

It's quite assertive.
As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

Mart, You are,..... as they say in certain parts of Belgium........ "Un Gourmande."

In the other parts of Belgium they would say something more Dutch, I suppose.

Does this sauce go with chips..or even pomme frite?

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Compare and contrast with Dave's approach.

I think Greece will shortly be declared broken.

Or they'll walk away smiling as their debts go 'poof!' I'm thinking they are going to get a 'No' then it'll be a case of seeing just how much France and Germany are willing to pay to keep the whole sorry mess staggering on, we are of course unwilling to pay but that's never counted for much and I expect we'll chip in.

I'm glad we're staying at the centre of this.
