I suspect the usual Coun Perkins bullshit. Nothing will happen, look at the wording, it's all bluff and bluster. He's in the cart over this misuse of public money and he knows it.

We sit, and we wait .............

That would be 'cos Swindon is of world importance, to a global communication network because ........ :idiot2:

  • Hello !
It could only really be BT, Virgin Media or one of the proper mobile companies (the likes of O2, Orange and Vodafone).  Even if you're a customer of a company like talk talk you're still using BT's infrastructure.

And for free, wasn't that the promise?
Oi! Listen mush. Old eyes, remember? I’ve been around the block a few times. More than a few. They’ve knocked down the blocks I’ve been around and rebuilt them as bigger blocks. Super blocks. And I’ve been round them as well.  The Doctor (Night Terrors)

Whoops, wasn't the promise free for two hours a day!

Two hours is enough for some people, Des.

Only 2 hours a day

Between 3am and 5am.

And you aren't allowed to visit websites with music or animation.

Or pictures.

And your details will be passed on to scammers.

And the News of the World.

Money back? No; my guess is the contract waiting to be signed is being scrutinised to decide how many directors and commitees and feasibility studies need to reduce the total sum possible to spend on the project. When they realise after that there is nothing left and still no progress there will be a contract ready and waiting for another investor mug.
Nope our money has gone; we were well and truly stuffed.
