The truth is the truth. Getting his story straight and creativity sounds a bit like mitigating circumstances to me, but crafting a rebuttal with all the facts at your finger tips cannot take this long surely?

It takes as long as it takes, but it won't be forgotten but the longer he leaves it the more people will read into him and the lib dems.
