I think she means that, ever since the Neighbourhood Policing Teams came in, they are supposed to be working closely with local communties, that ain't always so.

Though that's about the only gripe I have with them.

Or perhaps she means she doesn't want them privatised.

Well they want to privatise everything else so why not?

Ah, ok, thank you. 'Cause unless my council tax bill is reduced to £0, I really can't be bothered to start policing my own neighbourhood each evening, particularly when I've also got a local library to run and park to litter pick.
