To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the answer by Earl Howe on 30 November (Official Report, col. 1381) that "smoking still claims 80,000 lives a year", what clinical evidence or death certification records they have to support this statement; and whether they will place a copy of that evidence in the Library of the House.
