B-Rizely Libels Robert Feal Martinez
« on: December 22, 2010, 12:28:49 AM »
Would that be a similar "pledge" to that of the Liberals?

Good question? An observation on the two parties could be like comparing the pledge from a party that continues to scrabble for power, at any price. Whilst the other is determined to be the third major party in politics.

As I indicated in my post this is not a Partisan issue, and to make it clear is not a UKIP one either although we very much support it, hence we are prepared to deliver the leaflets, as we believe the Coalition need to see the strength of feeling. The posting back is of course free which will prompt more people to sign up.

Now we have the UK financial regulator saying the Euro is dead, and that countries including Ireland will likely leave the Euro, and probably be forced out of the EU for doing so. It should be the Coalitions strategy to get us out now, before we get lumbered with more billions of debt we cannot afford to repay.

Robert you are a liar aren't you?  Just recently you lied about being an elected official in the Advers comments section.  I now see that after that lie you have abandoned the Advers comments section, that is good news all round!

Hmmm - TS regulars be cautioned.

'b-risel'y aka Brizley? - I'm well aware of your 'Bob stalking' from the Adver comments section.

1. If you're going to call Bob a liar on the pages of our forum, you'd better back it up pronto (are you going to provide links or a transcript of what you allege was written and the context in which it was said?) - else you are potentially libelling him. Forum members here take a pretty dim view of that (as might Bob or his solicitor!).
2. TS is a forum where free speech and blunt talking is encouraged. I have disagreed with Bob many times - However, having witnessed some of the interplay on the Adver comments section between Bob and some of his 'fans', that sort of trolling does not pass for debate - and will not be tollerated here. I hope you have read the terms when you signed up here and will undertake to abide by them.
I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it - [attributed to] Voltaire... 'Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessita' - William of Occam.... 'You have a right to feel offended, but just cos you are offended doesn't mean you are right'

Tobes - may I refer you to the following comment:

Robfm, South Marston says...
10:43am Thu 18 Nov 10
Wrong again itsamess I have been a councillor. The parking of vehicles in a dangerous position 'Section 22 Road Traffic Act 1988'

Wilful Obstruction of the Highway Section 137 Highways Act 1980.

Both offences falling within the remit of the police.

Also had you bothered to read my post two back I recommended and indeed provided her with the details of the new Councillor.

It seems to me reading other threads you seem to be intent on 'picking fights', sorry I have no intention of obliging.

Source: http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/local/8668327.Former_Conservative_mayor_now_with_Labour/

(about halfway down the comments section)

So he is indeed a liar.  He has declined to prove he was an elected councillor because he cannot.  He is a liar.

Why thank you for the suggestion I am sure that a moderator will either censor my post or move it to a more appropriate location if they agree with you.  But personally I'd rather get back to the mateer in hand which relates to Robert Feel Martinez and his lies.

He might have been a parish councillor...
He may even have been a councillor outside of Swindon?
Note - in your post, you state that he wasn't an 'elected official' which again, is not necessarily the same as being a councillor.

Just because he hasn't provided any evidence to the contrary (because he's not obliged to) doesn't mean that he's not telling the truth.

I suggest you reword your post to reflect that. You can simply do that by hitting the 'modify' button.

I think that he was a South Marston Parish Councillor at one time. I do not think that it is an elected position. Did he specifically state being an SBC councillor?

The process is...

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists in the office of Councillors on the Parish Council of South Marston, due to the resignation  of ..........
An election will be held to fill this vacancy if, within 14 days of the publication of this notice, any ten (10) electors for the parish give notice in writing to the Returning Officer, Swindon Borough Council, Civic Offices, Swindon, SN1 2JH requesting an election.
In the absence of such a request, the vacancy will be filled by the Parish Council within a period of sixty days after the date of this notice.

Yep, he was a councillor:

NOVEMBER 21, 2009 BY DOJONES
New Parish Councillors
The co-option of Mrs Sheila Anderson-Witty, Mr Stuart Young and Mr Neil Burchell as Parish Councillors was ratified at the Council meeting on the 17th November.  The new Councillors fill the vacancies resulting from the resignations of Mr Des Jones, Mr David Marner and Mr Feal-Martinez and brings the Council back to its full complement of 9 councillors

I think that the phrase "co-option" means that a formal election did not take place and it was more a committee decision. Not sure though.

Administrator Comment
  • Talkswindon has no moderators and posts are not usually edited* or censored by members of the admin unless requested by the author or there is a pertinent legal reason to do so.
  • I suspect B-Rizely already knows this and already knew that Robert Feal Martinez was a Parish Councillor.
  • B-Rizely's intention therefore appears to be to foment some trouble for this forum and/or it's sponsors by making a libellous statement from the 'safety' of a pseudonym, a hotmail email address and proxy i.p address.
  • The first two are quite common but using a proxy i.p indicates a degree of technical knowledge and experience in using the same.
  • Members who wish to use proxy i.p addresses should check that the proxy is working properly before relying on them.
  • Members should also be aware that some proxy's are automatically barred from TS if the software decides the proxy may be used to attack or spam the forum
  • *exceptions to this include spam posts, commercial url's, pornography and the like.
www.talkswindon.org is a venue, not a person or political entity. As such, it hopes to encourage input and discussion on any topic, from all walks of Swindon life.

Working on the basis that you can't libel an anonymous poster: it looks like B-Rizley is exposed as the liar here.

He's probably a wife-beating kiddie-fiddling kleptomaniac who bots dogs for tabs...

.... And Lo! The community of TS showed what a free and open minded forum can achieve (are you watching SBC, with your stated intentions to form one of your own?)

Dislike Bob and his politics as many do, there's no greater hypocrasy than accusing someone of being a liar if your own facts are incorrect or incomplete. Have a look through TS - there's plenty of strong criticism of the man, so you can't accuse anyone of pro-Bob bias. And as Dougal [one of TS's voluntary admins says] says, if you've really got the courage of your convictions, then you'd state the facts openly without hiding behind a pseudonym or, far more tellingly, behind a proxy IP. That in itself seems to imply all we need to know.

The greatest irony of all is that you've actually just vindicated Bob's view that he is being deliberately and unfairly targetted by malicious trolls. That won't do his popularity any harm - and I'm sure was the absolute opposite of your intentions.

Merry Christmas!  :santa_afro:

No, that's me.

Except for the wife beating and kiddie fiddling. I did have kleptomania but I find a self administered thrashing keeps that under control, could do with a fag though.

Things have got a bit bitchier lately but the subject matter ain't particlarly diverse is it?

I don't mind bitchy if it is artful, I like a rant or a hatchet job if it is done with class.
Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don’t know what your rights are, or who the person is you’re talking to. Then, on the way out, slam the door.

Quite :)

I quite enjoy seeing the metaphorical light glinting off the edge of a finely honed and acrobatically wielded Wilkinson although I'm always a little dissappointed when the ardent aggressor becomes a multiple amputee in less than half a dozen posts.

P.S: A small frisson of 'Brizley' excitement was running through the Civic offices this morning. Now, who started it and why would that be?
