Justin Tomlinson MP - his first 6 months what has he done.
« on: September 28, 2010, 09:37:47 PM »
Look what feel through my sister's door today

Not much for 6 months really but does explain a few things

1. His preoccupation with asking pointless questions about football insolvancy

2. that he has no idea that Swindon is a mess when it comes to regeneration and it doesn't look like it's getting any better. just a tip here Justin don't ty your marketing hype, peopel knwo Swindon is a mess.

3.Libraries, come on now..... We are going to be closing them soon, will you admit to that in paper?

4.Nice picture on the Apprentices 500 project but who's that lurking in the background between Rod and you..... yes it's jovial Rikki Hunt savior of the unemployed youth

5. Harvestor opening a pub, is that really all you have to boast about

Nice font.
Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don’t know what your rights are, or who the person is you’re talking to. Then, on the way out, slam the door.

No comment  :-X

About Tadpole Farm or the x thousands of houses being planned for the North Wiltshire Border by Justin Tomlinson MP and coalition partners James Gray MP and the LibDem MP in Chippenham. I am surprised that this is still progressing as Pickles has scrapped the RDA, RSA, etc. Now is surely the time for SBC and WC to stop need to give consideration  to stopping proposed and planned development in its tracks and prepare write a new core strategy? Especially as the old current one is based on something that Pickles has abolished before forging ahead with more development?
 its a coalition.

What a waste of paper Justin?

Is it true that it was paid for out of funding for the Moredon Bye election Campaign?

I liked:

Quote from: Justin Tomlinson
"As your MP I take my role seriously, therefore I have voted in every single Parliamentary division, even when the debate lasted until 3 a.m!"

I don't think "3a.m" and an exclamation mark* are going to impress the towns shift workers.  It's your job Justin.

* Perhaps Justin will find a friendly Labour MP to quietly 'pair-off'** with and then he'll be back to his old habits of abstention.

** 'Pairing' in the House of Commons was supposedly ended by a decision of the Labour and Liberal Democrat Chief Whips, Donald Dewar and Archy Kirkwood on 17 December 1996, following an incident where they found that the (then) Conservative government had cheated in a vote by pairing the same three Conservative MPs with three absent Labour MPs as well as three absent Liberal Democrat MPs.

The decision came into effect on 13 January 1997.[1] It has supposedly not resumed since.

As Steve W raises all the proposed housing issues which I for one would like to know how Justin is geting on wth his chats with the developers so what is happening there?

 - now that would be a good reason for a leaflet!

If you want to compare what has really been happening between Justin Tomlinson and developers, against 'what the leaflets say',  I suggest North & West Swindon residents encourage Stephanie Exell to pick herself up, dust herself off, (and have a long hot shower after her dalliance with Bluh's Tory's), and carry on as the community champion she was before, and spill the beans via a blog or TS.

He wants extra parking on new estates!

He thinks charity is a good thing!

He quite likes football!

He fulfils the basic obligations of his job!

Truly, why this man doesn't have a front bench cabinet seat is beyond me.

What were the achievements he rejected from this pointless puff?

So you're back Justin ? Conservative party conference was it ? I saw something on the tele but wasn't too sure what it was. I didn't see the word Conservative anywhere, some sort of Union flag being displayed, could almost be the BNP logo. Has the oak tree wilted and died, I do hope it's not a premonition.

At one time I thought I had tuned into Micheal McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow especially when a comedian named George Osborne got on the stage. He had me in fits :2funny:even the audience clapped when he went off.( bit like an IED ).

It wasn't until the last day that I realised it was supposed to be taken seriously when the MC got on the stage and no one laughed or clapped. No wonder you and Andy were clinging onto the railings. Much more of that and you'll be clinging on to power.
It was nice to know Nationwide were there, did you miss the Digital City stand?

Well, back to the mundane, trudging the streets of Moredon. Don't spend too much constituancy money, you'll need every penny over the next couple of years.  ;)

I could fill more than 2 sides of A4 for sure and it wouldn't all be piffle. If he's incapable of taking the heat what's he doing in the kitchen?

for a start he's stayed up voting till 3am !!!! wow 3am the little tinker, did mummy know?  doesn't however state what he's voted on, or which way he voted does it?

If he didn't think he was ready or up to the challenge then why didi he put himself forward?

You don't really want my 6 months report, far too lengthy, varied and I did it all for nothing.
Oi! Listen mush. Old eyes, remember? I’ve been around the block a few times. More than a few. They’ve knocked down the blocks I’ve been around and rebuilt them as bigger blocks. Super blocks. And I’ve been round them as well.  The Doctor (Night Terrors)
