Perhaps  the Strong Leader Cabinet model works the same where ever it is in place?

An update from The Wilts & Glos Standard about our chum Dennis Grant.

Fraudster Dennis Grant ordered to pay back more than £300,000

By Ian Craig
Fraudster Dennis Grant has been ordered to pay almost £319,000 in compensation to the charity he defrauded.

At Gloucester Crown Court today judge William Hart ruled the former Cotswold Water Park Society boss had defrauded the organisation of £770,291.25.

He also ruled his assets were worth a total of £318,949.71, which he must now pay to the Cotswold Water Park Trust.

If he does not pay this sum by November 29 2013 he will have to serve an extra three and a half years in prison, to run concurrently with his current four year, four month sentence.

Grant, 64, was jailed in July last year after admitting six charges of fraud by false representation.

Among the luxuries Grant bought with his ill-gotten gains were a £300,000 home in Cyprus and a £62,000 Aston Martin Vantage car.

His fraud went undetected for two and a half years before tenacious operations director Tasha Flaherty spotted irregularities in the organisation’s accounts and confronted him about it.

Fraudster Dennis Grant, ex Chief Executive of Swindon Chamber of Commerce and The Cotswold Waterpark Society, it seems has paid his debt to society and is now out of prison on parole.

It is extremely curious, after all this time when no one else seemingly knew what was going on, that someone has now uncovered a letter and published it on The Cotswold Water Park Trust web-site.

Oh Dear, Oh Dear. Dennis is back inside again. It's odd that the Police still believe that Dennis acted alone in his frauds. Maybe because he brought so much attention to what was going on, he has been hung out to dry while all around us the orchestra continues to "fiddle."

in his trial, he was ordered to pay back so much of his ill gotten gains, but hasn't done so, so isn't this latest lock up, the punishment for not paying the money back.. :2funny:
