Palatable with plenty of Tabasco.
Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don’t know what your rights are, or who the person is you’re talking to. Then, on the way out, slam the door.

Doesn't Old Granny Beaton have recipe that involves marinating your self with strong cider before eating one?

The trouble is they don't use guns.  Wouldn't be so bad if they did.

Chav, you should have been with me number taking yesterday, all the people I know, from the Gardening club, Ladies night, my time at the Neighbourhood Centre, community centre and the Community Assoc, dog walkers - and just plain old people you bump into over the years, lovely lovely people, so kind and cheerful (in the main - because there is always one! :tickedoff:)  Nearly all of them took the time to ask after your other great aunt.

It reminded me why it was we come out of our corner's fighting from time to time.  And why our politicians ought to know what it's really like.  If there is another election in the near future I will try to do all day.

If I wasn't at work, I would have been there  ;)

don't know... the fox that is currently destroying my lawn is a considerable nuisance....

(note however that I'm completely opposed to hunting with hounds even though I'm originally from a reasonably rural background)

Have you noticed, those who think we are about to be s---t on from a great height, that the current money problems of this country have just come up over night, and the boys in the blue can take the blame, no responsibility of prudence and his crap economic measures over the past 13 years, I heard one chap on the radio dinner time, say, that whoever gets in, due to the cuts coming up, around 300,000 people will be out of work soon, and the rest will be paying tax like you have never known before, so, have a think, blame maggie and anyone else who has the balls to sort out labours mess once again,

I am not blaming anyone - It just tickled me the way in which Bobby B came out with being Shit on from a great height - I had visions of flocks of sea gulls invading swindon like the Dambusters  :-\

However, I do think there will be hard times ahead for both people and the government, it will be no easy task by any means in sorting out the country  :-\

As for Swindon - I really hope that the council take on board that they need to start consulting more, engaging more and listening more to the people of the town , as our views matter and our views count.

Moley, are you sure that's a fox ruining your lawn?   That's not something they usually get blamed for (although their favourite food is worms) - it's actually more likely to be a badger.

It could just be worms coming up for breath or Starling's digging for worms.   Or is it that old friend of the gardener (not) the grub of the 'daddylonglegs' the cranefly. What's the symptoms?

Will the Hunting with Dogs Act be repealled now, as was stated prior to this election?

Slight contortion of the stories pledge Mr Dubya.  I think Dave-call-me-Dave promised a free vote not a repeal.

Now... what a free vote means to DCMD may mean a subterranean 3-line whip to others, but regardless it was free vote that was offered.
