The companies act says any small company with turnover under 6.5 million is exempt from audit.

Are you 100% rock solid sure of that?  I know those I deal with are also charities, but Companies House seem to be more particular than any other about accounts and the way they are presented.
Certainly none of the 'Companies' I deal with are no where near the £6.5m balance (I wish they were  :D ) in fact not all that near to £6.5k.
Oi! Listen mush. Old eyes, remember? I’ve been around the block a few times. More than a few. They’ve knocked down the blocks I’ve been around and rebuilt them as bigger blocks. Super blocks. And I’ve been round them as well.  The Doctor (Night Terrors)

There is a big difference between 'audited' and 'certified' - I think the word 'audited' is generic to many people but PH is right, as he more often than not is on matters relating to accounting/accounts etc - it's good to have an expert to guide us

I've been audited. I've never been certified.
Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don’t know what your rights are, or who the person is you’re talking to. Then, on the way out, slam the door.

Shouldn't that read the other way around Mart?

Should we do a poll on whether Mart should be 'certified'
