This line on the website made me laugh

Although having gone last year I'm not sure if that's a clever thing to say, last year's event was good fun and I don't know of anyone who went along and didn't enjoy it, even if it wasn't commercially viable.

This made me chuckle too

It's a legal thing.

This is last year's website: http://www.swindonpride.co.uk/

I realise that but when you consider all the internal back biting and criticism of last year's organisers as reported in the paper it could be taken a very different way.

Did anyone make it to this?

I went along and had a great day and loads of entertainment.

The one thing thing that I was slightly unpleasantly surprised to learn that Anne Snelgrove saw ti as an opportunity to hand out leaflets explaining how much Labour has done for the LGBT community.  Going along to soak up the atmosphere is one thing, but using it as another political stunt to peddle her message is a very different thing altogether.  Her opportunism was highlighted even more when she was seen leaving the event at 2pm.

Hi Ali G
Yes it was another great day out lol !
and I was also given a leaflet from Anne Snelgrove as I sat near the band stand,
She is a woman of few words !
She pressed the leaflet into my hand, with no explanation as to what it was etc, and off
she toddled with speed to the next person and so on !

I was left on the bench thinking .............. hmmm and the point is ... ? lol

Still when I gave out my Splash  Park fun day leaflets, at least I took the time to speak to people ad explain
what it was all in aid of  O0

And we stayed all day and all night didnt we Ali G , and I behaved lol
