gordnon has a plan for that.
Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don’t know what your rights are, or who the person is you’re talking to. Then, on the way out, slam the door.

They have been , haven't they?

A genuinely nice day out. I even enjoyed the one where it rained gently for most of the afternoon.

Events have conspired to keep me out of Swindon for this on the last 2 years, this time I hope it's different.

Chav,  I'll bring my brolly  ;)

It always gets a bit too crowded for my liking, but is still enjoyable despite that. It needs a bigger venue.

I have to agree with that opinion.

I ventured the same opinion at the 2007 Mela AGM but the feeling of the organisers was that moving the Mela would lessen it's feeling of intimacy.

I 'spose one persons intimacy is another persons crowded, eh?  :)

I did wonder why they didn't take over the play area and open space over the road (on the left if you're coming from Bath road).
And the tennis courts too.

It was a fantastic day out.
Great food and entertainment.
I came home with three Indian outfits - one in bright pink and yellow  ))))
No Burberry anywhere may I add lol.

It was great, and will be off there again next year.

I am off to the Swindon Pride on the 15th August - anyone else up for it ?????
I went last year and it was fantastic  O0

Certainly was, though I still feel it would benefit from being in a bigger venue. It got very crowded.

I did wonder what was going through Ms Snelgrove's mind whilst the mayor was giving his opening address....
