Swindon Local Elections

Thursday 1st May 2008

In Swindon, which is one of the 19 English unitary authorities, one third of the council will be up for election.

This forum is currently read-only. we're just getting the forum ready at this stage and moving the 2006 & 2007 boards to make space.

The 2008 forum will be open to general posting in the next few days.

We've changed the way we're presenting the ward information this year, instead of giving each ward its own 'child-board', they will have one 'sticky topic' each, (so all the dedicated ward/candidate topics stay at the very top of the 2008 forum), and all other 2008 local election related topics can be started as normal underneath them.

When this forum is opened up for posting, (currently read-only), it can be used in exactly the same way as every other Talkswindon forum.  :)

** 'Reserved' posts at positions #2,#3,#4 in each ward topic are for the addition of other candidates details as they become available.
