This evenet was terrific - really well done to everyone that organised it.
There were hundreds there - 500, 600? hundreds; even the hall was packed.
Good show.
Without having put in a stroke of work towards it, I ask ... will it be an annual thing?

It was brilliant and went far beyond our expectations O0. Do I take it you went along then ZPW, you man of mystery?

We do want to make this an annual event, and we will, organised by the community for the community.

From this event the Broadstreet Area Community Council are keeping the Cohesion Event Committee running.  We are meeting mid-late May time and will start planning next Year's Event.  We also need to identify some funding options for this.  The Cohesion Committee will also look at other events throughout the year.  The BSACC run bi-monthly social evening's for the community - this is something the Cohesion committee can help plan - the bi-monthly Social evening's are run and paid for by the people of the Broadgreen Area - and are enjoyed by all.

The Broadgreen Cohesion Event on Saturday surpassed all my hopes - it was fabulous (and thank goodness for the weather - could not have order better!).  The people who attended were fabulous, joined in well - happy faces eveywhere.

The Community Football competition was won by the Police Team (fix - I say) the tug of War was won by the Goan Team - who are very strong indeed.

On behalf of the Chair of BSACC (who is very ill at the moment), I would like to thank everyone who help on the day.  The people that had information stalls/Skeetz Youth Group/The Mayor and Mayoress/Streets For Living Team for all their help.  A huge big Thank you to Doug Imrie (Community Sports Coach) who worked harder than us all and as always was brilliant.

Eveyone will be receiving a personal thank you.
